23 Feb. 2010 This is the second part of the parikrama coverage in Antardvip. After crossing the Ganga, the devotees assembled in Isodyan where Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math is presently situated. Isodayan was the place where our Lords Nimai and Nitai met for the very first time. When Nitai first arrived in Navadvip, he hid in Nandanacharya Bhavan nearby this place which is now the site of Sri Gaur Nityananda Mandir (the next Gaudiya Math temple from here towards Yogapith) then Nimai met Him here in Isodyan. I have just returned from the 1st day of the series "Sri Navadvip Parikrama Katha". This is Hari-katha organized by Houston sanga, and the actual katha is given by Sripad Ramachandra Prabhu.

The classes are so inspirational and sweet, so I felt inspired to write to you and inform you about the program's schedule.

Ramachandra Prabhu speaks mostly in English. The classes are video-streamed via Ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sri-govindaji-gaudiya-matha

The actual Parikrama will start tomorrow. We will have Sankalpa and will go to Antardwip-Mayapur. Today Ramachandra Prabhu spoke on the special significance of Sri Navadvip and the advent and mission of Gauranga Mahaprabhu. The class was simply wonderful. The idea is obvious: Ramchandra Prabhu will be speaking on the same topic, devotees will be speaking in Navadvip that same day.

Ramachandra Prabhu has been personally doing Navadevip Parikrama with Gurudeva every year since 1994.

Dear Maharajas, Prabhus and Didis.
All Glories to Srila Gurudeva and Srila Prabhupada
Please accept my humble dandavat-pranams.

On behalf of all devotees in Houston I would like to invite everyone and especially those devotees who live away from any local preaching centers, to virtually (and physically who has the opportunity) attend our celebration of Sri Gaura-Purnima Festival in Houston. The program will be held at the New Temple site. It will be video-streamed through our Ustream channel. So you will also be able to see the progress of the construction. You will be surprised! :) The part of the program that will actually be video-streamed will include Hari-katha by Sripad Ramachandra Prabhu. The class will begin at around 5:45 PM CST and will continue for 1.5 - 2 hours.

For the last 6 days we have had wonderful daily Hari-katha programs with Sripad Ramachandra Prabhu, who was taking us on Sri Navadvip Parikrama. He was remembering many pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates as well as many sweet pastimes of our dear Srila Gurudeva, Pujyapad Srila Vamana Maharaja and Pujyapad Srila Trivikrama Maharaja. There also we will broadcast the last day of this 7 days 'Sri Navadvipa Parikrama Katha' series - tomorrow at 7PM CST.
